| Full-time and part-time students will be offered a 50 percent discount on tuition, room, and board for the 2005-2006 academic year. The Department of Education’s guidelines will be followed for considerations of additional financial aid. Each student will be considered on a case-by-case basis, depending upon the student’s major. Additional academic and personal support services will be available to all students on an as-needed basis. Students wishing to live off campus are encouraged to apply. One faculty member has already agreed to house a student for the fall semester. |

| We are a community-based learning school providing graduate education to nurses who desire an education as nurse-midwives, family nurse practitioner or women's health care nurse practitioner. We can offer specific courses to graduate nursing students while they are waiting for their colleges to recover. Our programs lead to a Master of Science in Nursing and are fully accredited by SACS, NLNAC and ACNMDOA. |

| To Katrina Affected Students: In response to the needs of college students whose lives and educational goals have been disrupted by the tragedy of Hurricane Katrina, President Alexander has approved a plan to offer admission to displaced college students from the colleges and universities whose operations have been affected. Murray State University staff will work closely with qualified students to expedite admissions, assist with financial aid, design appropriate class schedules, and locate housing. MSU is waiving fall tuition for qualified students displaced by the hurricane. Classes are currently in session, so interested students should respond as soon as possible. | The Union College administration has reopened admission for students displaced by hurricane Katrina. The college will enroll a limited number of undergraduate students for the fall term. College administrators report that this enrollment option is intended solely for students displaced by the disaster. Union will waive up to full tuition to students in this circumstance, asking that any tuition dollars aside from federal and state aid continue to be directed towards the students' home school. |

| Opportunity for students enrolled at institutions directly effected by Hurricane Katrina to enroll at Western Kentucky University and pay no tuition of fees if they have already paid tuition to their home institution. If they have not paid yet, they may enroll at Western Kentucky University and pay only in-state tuition and fees. |
