| We will immediately enroll undergraduate and graduate students who wish to attend Jackson State and are admitted or registered at any college or university closed due to Hurricane Katrina. When necessary, admission and financial aid eligibility will be confirmed during the semester subsequent to enrollment. We will accept and expedite the processing of employment applications of faculty and staff from colleges and universities closed due to Hurricane Katrina. |

| Out-of-state students from affected institutions will be treated as in-state students in regard to tuition and fees. Tuition, fees, room, and board for all affected students will be deferred for 30 days so that financial aid, bank accounts, and other financial arrangements can be worked through on a case-by-case basis. |
