| The Art Institutes will make available both on-campus and online courses that might be able to permit dislocated students to progress in their academic careers during this semester of disruption. Students at a university forced to close by Hurricane Katrina may register at any of The Art Institutes 31 locations across the nation for courses, on a space-available basis, for the fall semester. The Art Institutes is a group of 31educational institutions located throughout North America. Offering a broad range of programs including: audio production, culinary arts, culinary management, fashion design, fashion marketing, graphic design, industrial design technology, interior design, media arts & animation, multimedia & Web design, photography, restaurant management and video production. Not all programs are offered at all schools. |

| The Art Institutes will waive tuition for dislocated students who have already registered and paid tuition at their home institution for the fall 2005 semester. If dislocated students have not yet paid their tuition at their home institution, they will be assessed the lesser of the current published tuition and fees at the home institution, or The Art Institutes’ published tuition and fees for the fall semester, as determined by the school president. |

| The University of Nevada, Reno is prepared to offer emergency admission to students displaced by Hurricane Katrina. Though classes began on August 29th, we will make every effort to smoothly transition displaced students into fall classes. We are committed to providing the following support:  Application for admission and related fees are waived for fall 2005.  Scholarships and financial aid are available.  Non-resident tuition will be waived for one year.  Accommodations for housing can be provided.  Special on-line courses will be offered.  Personal counseling will be provided with the transition. The University of Nevada, Reno is located in a community of approximately 300,000 people at the base of the Sierra Nevada Mountains. The University is in northern Nevada within a short drive of nearby Lake Tahoe. Our enrollment is 16,200 students. More information is available at www.unr.edu. Students will be offered a smooth transition to temporarily pursue their higher education in Nevada. Faculty, staff and fellow students stand ready to assist in all ways. |

| All students will be granted in-state status for tuition purposes. Scholarships and other forms of aid are available. Application for admission and late registration fees are waived for fall 2005. Non-resident tuition is waived for a period of one year until fall 2006. Registration fees are postponed until October 7, 2005. |
| Private homes have been volunteered. Some students can be accommodated in the residence halls for a pro-rated fee. This may be covered by scholarships and other forms of aid. Depending upon move-in date, the amount for room and board will be prorated based upon a full semester room and board charge of $3,780. |
