Info Detail - New Mexico
| Waiver of tuition and programs fees for postsecondary student-evacuees who reside in, or expected to attend college in, the affected areas along the Louisiana and Mississippi coasts. A limited fund has also been set up to help these students purchase books and other necessary supplies. TVI’s program menu includes associate degrees and certificates in about 50 business, health, technology and trades occupations, two-year liberal and fine arts degrees, college transfer and college prep courses, and adult basic education. Tutoring and other support services are also available |

| Santa Fe Community College wishes to welcome Louisiana and Mississippi college students by offering the following: 1) A full scholarship for in-state tuition and fees for the fall 2005 and spring 2006 semesters; 2) Required books loaned at no cost; 3) Enrollment in late-starting classes; 4) Individualized advisement, admission and student services, and assistance with financial aid 5) Any other accommodations authorized by New Mexico’s Governor or Legislature. In addition to these services, the SFCC community is coming together to offer funds and other relief in many ways. Details about these efforts will be forthcoming. |
