| Catawba College, a liberal arts college located in Salisbury, N.C., offers evening program courses on a block schedule that may conveniently serve students displaced by Hurricane Katrina who have not yet enrolled at other institutions. Students may enroll in one course at a time for a four-week block. Blocks begin September 12, October 10, and November 10. This schedule would also allow students to seek full- or part-time employment while enrolled in courses in this program. Victims of the storm who enroll in this program will be considered visiting, non-degree seeking students through the fall semester. Students who might wish to avail themselves of this opportunity should contact the Office of Admissions at 1-800-CATAWBA for additional information. | Queens University of Charlotte is pleased to honor and support the requests of the Gulf Coast College Presidents and the American Council on Education ( http://emergency.tulane.edu/ace.htm ) to accept all students on a provisional, visiting basis and to waive the tuition of students who have already paid tuition at their home institution. Students who have not yet paid tuition will be charged at their home institution’s rate (in support of the request by leading national college and universities organizations), and those charges will be sent on to the student’s home institution. |

The Art Institutes is a group of 31educational institutions located throughout North America. The students may take courses at UNC-Chapel Hill on a space-available basis, and the University will provide them with a transcript when they return to their home campuses. Non-residents may choose to enroll in our online and self-paced courses. We have established a special team of admissions counselors and advisors to work with students who are seeking temporary enrollment.
