| Bluffton University will offer assistance to university or college students displaced by Hurricane Katrina who wish to continue college studies fall semester. September 14, 2005, is the deadline for registration. Bluffton will offer a full-tuition waiver, with room/board/fees at the regular rate. The room and board rates would be pro-rated if students were able to return to their campus before the end of the semester. Should a student decide to continue second semester, the student would then apply for regular admission to the university. |

| The College of Mount St. Joseph, a Catholic college of 2,200 students located in Cincinnati, Ohio, will waive tuition and fees and will provide room and board to college students who cannot attend their colleges and universities this semester in areas affected by Hurricane Katrina. The College welcomes displaced college students from the affected areas to enroll for fall semester classes as visiting students by September 19, 2005. The Mount will waive tuition and fees and provide room and board for qualified students who can demonstrate some evidence of their enrollment at their own college or university; students will need to cover the cost of books and transportation to Cincinnati. Since classes have already started at the Mount, students will get personal attention and advising to get them on track for the rest of fall semester. | The Art Institutes will make available both on-campus and online courses that might be able to permit dislocated students to progress in their academic careers during this semester of disruption. Students at a university forced to close by Hurricane Katrina may register at any of The Art Institutes 31 locations across the nation for courses, on a space-available basis, for the fall semester. The Art Institutes is a group of 31educational institutions located throughout North America. Offering a broad range of programs including: audio production, culinary arts, culinary management, fashion design, fashion marketing, graphic design, industrial design technology, interior design, media arts & animation, multimedia & Web design, photography, restaurant management and video production. Not all programs are offered at all schools. |
