| Mary mount University in Arlington, Virginia, invites students displaced by Hurricane Katrina to contact the Admissions Office to discuss enrollment until their colleges are able to reopen. The University will work with students individually to facilitate a smooth transition and will strive to place each in courses comparable to those at the home institution. Mary mount encourages students to call as soon as possible, since the semester has already begun. Financial Aid officers will work with each individual to resolve financial concerns. |

| Northern Virginia Community College is prepared to “fast track” the admissions and registration process for students whose colleges and universities have been closed by Hurricane Katrina. Students who attest to having been admitted to a four-year college or university will qualify as “transient” or guest students who are not required to take a placement test to determine readiness for college-level work. |
